A brand new HealthCheck service is now available at THE Medical. We’re calling it ‘THE Complete Medical’ and it’s your chance to gain a full picture of your health and benefit from a tailored action plan.

THE Complete Medical gives you the opportunity to take time out to review both your physical condition as well as your lifestyle, to ensure your continued health and wellbeing. It provides you with a detailed picture of how healthy you are and enables you to take control of your health for the future.

What does it involve?

Managed by one of our doctors, you will receive a full ‘MOT’. Your heart, lungs, abdomen and central nervous system will all be assessed. We will also test blood pressure, cholesterol, and heart trace in order to assess your risk of heart disease. A detailed blood analysis is conducted to test for conditions such as diabetes, gout, and liver and kidney problems.

THE Complete Medical also includes a session with a dietitian who will talk you through your diet and lifestyle and provide a detailed body composition profile, including your body fat percentage. Finally one of our physical therapists will carry out a full musculoskeletal examination including posture, joints, muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons.
